Fetal Monitoring Education

Monitoring a woman and her fetus during the antepartum and intrapartum periods is an essential component of perinatal care.  WAPC's fetal monitoring education program offers live and online courses, as well as, an interactive CD-ROM. 

Fetal Monitoring "Lunch and Learn" Series: Beyond the Basics - The Art and Science of Strip Interpretation 
This Webinar series is offered throughout the year. This course is for those who have demonstrated competency in basic fetal monitoring skills. This is not introductory content.    
Discussion focuses on case studies and strip review, using current ACOG/NICHD recommendations.  Each session will have a new and unique curriculum.

Basics of Fetal Monitoring: This live course provides the learner with basic knowledge of and skills about palpation, auscultaion and electronic fetal heart rate monitoring.  It is divided into five modules and uses case studies to enhance learning.  This course is taught every other year at the WAPC Annual Conference, and throughout the year in locations throughout Wisconsin by WAPC certified instructors.
