Postpartum Hemorrhage: What You Can Do
Be prepared for an obstetric emergency.
- If your facility does not have a protocol in place, or that protocol is out-of-date, work with your colleagues to develop an up-to-date and easy-to-follow protocol.
- Conduct regular OB emergency drills.
- Visit the PPH Resource section for more information your facility can use.
- Attend the WAPC Annual Conference, where educational workshops on postpartum hemorrhage are commonly held.
