Fetal Montoring CD-ROM
The Basics of Fetal Monitoring CD-ROM is intended for individual- learner use only. It can be used before or after a face-to-face, day-long WAPC fetal monitoring course. The CD-ROM and the face-to-face course complement each other.

Version 2.0 is now available! (Released April 2009)
This revised version of the Basics of Fetal Monitoring CD-ROM incorporates the guideline revisions included in the NICHD fetal monitoring workshop report issued in September 2008. Click here to view a quick guide to the terminology changes.

How to Order CDs
The price for each CD-ROM is $50 plus shipping and handling. A donation of $10 per CD-ROM will be made to the Perinatal Foundation, which funded the development of the initiative.

A volume discount is available for orders of 10 CDs or more. A discount for the Version 2.0 CD-ROM is also available for individuals and facilities that previously ordered Version 1.0 of the CD-ROM. Please call the WAPC office (608-417-6060) for more details.

Post-Tests and Continuing Education Credit
Click here to access the post-tests and answer keys that accompany the curriculum on the CD-ROM and to learn about obtaining continuing education credit through WAPC for completing this educational module.

Basics of Fetal Monitoring Live Course
In addition to the interactive CD-ROM, WAPC offers a day-long Basics of Fetal Monitoring live course for learners looking to expand their knowledge about fetal monitoring. WAPC-recognized instructors teach the course at a number of sites throughout Wisconsin several times a year. The course is also offered at the WAPC annual conference in April of each year.

If you have recenlty completed the live course and would like to receive continuing education credit for the course, please complete the form below. Please note that requests for continuing education for a live course must be made within 90 days of the course completion date.

We invite you to help us expand the repository of case studies, which helps learners apply what they have learned through the Basics of Fetal Monitoring CD-ROM or a face-to-face WAPC fetal monitoring course. Send de-identified case studies to . The WAPC Fetal Monitoring Work Group will review the case studies and make them available as appropriate.

WAPC Fetal Monitoring Course Policies
These specific policies relates to the WAPC Basics of Fetal Monitoring face-to-face course. All recognized WAPC fetal monitoring instructors (and those wishing to become recognized instructors) should familiarize themselves with these policies.
