Overview

WAPC is an individual membership association that was formed in 1970. It currently has over 650 members and has a statewide office in Madison. Through its multidisciplinary membership and its partnerships with health care providers, consumers, governmental agencies, professional societies and corporate health care systems, WAPC knows what the key issues are in perinatal care and how they are affecting women, infants and families. These issues include access to quality services, health care financing, standards of care, realignment of service providers and service systems, continuing education of professionals and public education.

WAPC members stand united in the common goal of providing excellent health care to women, infants and families in an ever-changing health care environment. The association offers resources and opportunities to help members meet this goal and the daily challenges they face in the workplace.
